My Lego-obsessed 5yo seems pleased with this app, but it seems more appropriate for ages 3-5 than what the app recommends. Game play consists of dragging pre-set pieces onto pre-set locations to make a car, holding down a button to make the car go (no steering, no obstacles involved), and then solving a puzzle (the finished product is washed out, he drags the parts onto the picture and they snap into place).
I wouldnt consider this an educational or creative app for elementary age children; its merely interactive with little problem solving that relies heavily on a childs love of the brand. The player can make some decisions, but theres too little freedom to experiment.
He played this for about a minute before saying, "I want to play a different game, mom," and choosing the Toca Monster Kitchen game.
